LOSLRA announces the addition of Henry Stewart to the Board of Directors!
Henry S. Stewart has been an attorney for 43 years. He lives near Lake Ontario in Greece, New York, and has a seasonal cottage in Wayne County on Crescent Beach in the Town of Huron. He has been engaged in advocacy regarding lake level issues affecting Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River continuously since 1993, when he first became the President of the Lake Ontario South Shore Council. From 2000 to 2008, he served as a member of the Public Interest Advisory Group for the IJC’s International Lake Ontario St. Lawrence River Study. He has also served as a board member of the Lake Ontario Riparian Alliance and editor of its newsletter. Henry’s experience and skill set is a great addition to the LOSLRA team.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The International Joint Commission has announced an “expedited review” of the controversial Plan 2014. IJC officials say they recently received $1.5 million in funding from the United States, with an additional $1.5 million in matching funds from Canada, to investigate possible improvements that could be made to Lake Ontario outflow regulation activities.
